FEES & REBATES

Medicare Rebates

Clients who are referred by their GP with a current Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) in place are eligible to up to ten Medicare rebated consultations per calendar year.

The standard fee to see a Clinical Psychologist is $240 and with a valid MHCP in place, you will receive a rebate of $141.85 into your nominated account.

The standard fee for a Generalist Psychologist is $210 with a rebate of $96.65 with a valid MHCP.

After hours (after 5pm weekdays or Saturdays) attracts a higher fee of $260 for Clinical Psychologists and $230 for Generalist Psychologists.

Please note that a 1.5% processing fee will be charged for all consultations where payment is received by credit or debit card.

Please note we do not offer bulk billing.

Workcover and TAC referrals are not accepted. We also do not provide legal reports.

If you anticipate that you may become entitled to access a referral from these services we advise that you seek an alternative service.

Private Health Insurance:

A partial rebate may be available through private health insurance. Please contact your insurance provider to discuss whether your policy has psychological counselling extras. Please note that we are unable to process claims onsite. However can provide a receipt for claiming with your provider.

Assessments/Reports:

Our fees for psychological reports and assessments vary depending on what is required. Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements. Please note that Medicare does not cover the costs of certain Psychological assessments and reports.

Letters or other documents will incur a fee due to the time required to complete such items. If you are aware that a report or other form of documentation is required then this should be discussed at the time of booking to confirm that the practitioner is able to provide this.

Cancellation Policy:

Due to the demand for appointments and the loss of income for the psychologist for non-attendance or late cancellation at least 48 hours notice is required for any cancellations or a fee may be charged.
